Mixers tested with this Gin

  • Fit: 1 out of 3

    Lots of tonic

    Mistelhain Trend Tonic

Not much of the gin comes through here. The tonic simply has the upper hand throughout.

  • Fit: 1 out of 3

    Tonic wins

    Fever-Tree Mediterranean Tonic Water

The Mediterranean Tonic can work with the gin here, but, as so often, it wins.

  • Fit: 2 out of 3

    A good fit

    Thomas Henry Tonic Water

The tonic dominates at first, but the gin comes through more strongly in the second half. A decent option.

  • Fit: 1 out of 3

    Gin on the finish

    Doctor Polidori Dry Tonic Water

Unfortunately, this isn't an ideal recommendation either. The gin only becomes a little more noticeable in the aftertaste.

  • Fit: 1 out of 3

    Works well

    Schweppes Dry Tonic Water

The tonic battles with the gin, and if you add too much tonic, it wins. But it's a nicely dry combination.

  • Fit: 0 out of 3

    No.

    Gemellii Indian Tonic

I'm always amazed at how sweet this tonic is. Unfortunately, that's very dominant. But the gin can send a little rosehip through the sweetness.

  • Fit: 1 out of 3

    No showstopper

    Schweppes Herbal Tonic Water

The two work together, but I'm not becoming a fan. The Herbal isn't bad, but the gin doesn't bring much to the mix.
