Oh no!
Goldberg Japanese Yuzu Tonic
Sorry, folks, you'd be better off leaving this combination alone. With this gin, it turns into a plastic-fest. Not very nice. Steer clear with this gin.

Could be better
Goldberg Indian Hibiscus Tonic
Not entirely artificial, but not a clear G&T either, in the literal sense. This tonic is very fruity and doesn't fit particularly well here.

Runner-up
Goldberg Mediterranean Tonic
The regular Goldberg is a little better than the Mediterranean. But there's none of the dryness you get with Fever-Tree.

That's the one
Goldberg Tonic Water
This mix is just right for the gin. It isn't too sweet and brings out the profile quite well.

Sweet bomb
Fever-Tree Indian Tonic Water
Despite the sweetness, the gin comes through quite well. Too sweet for me, but you could make it work with lots of ice.

-
Fine bubbles
Windspiel Tonic Water
This tonic lets the gin play softly, with delicate bubbles. The tonic doesn't dominate, but you can make it out. A fresh mix.

On the bitter side
Fever-Tree Mediterranean Tonic Water
The Mediterranean rarely gets reined in like this, but here it's in a good way. It still has its lemonade character, but with this gin it's a new experience. I like it.

Floral
Mistelhain Ambition Tonic
The Ambition works delicately with the gin here for once. It's often too dominant, but here it supports the gin well. I like it. It is a little sweet, though.

Sweetish
Doctor Polidori Dry Tonic Water
Despite being Dry, there's quite a prominent sweetness. The gin doesn't come through all that much.

-
Pickles!
Doctor Polidori Cucumber Tonic Water
An intriguing mix! With this gin, the tonic becomes a delicate, sweet mustard-pickle affair. Sounds odd, but it's quite interesting.
