Kicks like
Goldberg Japanese Yuzu Tonic
This tonic is so wild. This time it's a mix of juicy citrus and liquorice — very delicate liquorice. So yes, you can taste the gin.

Pretty nice
Goldberg Indian Hibiscus Tonic
As someone who isn't necessarily a fan of this sort of tonic, I'm quite taken with the Hibiscus Tonic combination. Fruity, but nicely dry and bold. Somehow, it works well.

Balanced
Goldberg Mediterranean Tonic
The mix is citrus-led and sweet, but fruit-sweet rather than sticky. A good option. The gin has enough edge to take the sugary character out of the tonic.

Lavender?
Goldberg Tonic Water
This mix turns into a dance of lavender. The rose petals certainly play a part, but there's a hint of lavender involved. Definitely below the ‘soap threshold’, though!

Not sweet
Fever-Tree Indian Tonic Water
This works well. The gin comes through clearly, with the tonic accompanying it nicely and taking it somewhere of its own. Sweeter, but still with herbal notes.

A sweet thing
Windspiel Tonic Water
Fine bubbles, but a little too sweet for me at first. Some ice makes it better and more balanced. Worth a go.

Flavour galore
Fever-Tree Mediterranean Tonic Water
If you like sweeter drinks, the gin has killed the lemonade character here. The tonic supports the flavour well, but it's less prominent than usual. Good!

Dry AF
Doctor Polidori Dry Tonic Water
These two like each other: sweet, bitter and quite juicy. But with all that going on, it isn't too sweet. A good fit.

Rounded
Doctor Polidori Cucumber Tonic Water
As with Mistelhain Trend, there's a lovely balance here. The cucumber is there, of course, but it isn't unpleasant. If you like Mistelhain with this gin, you'll be happy here too.

Well done
Mistelhain Ambition Tonic
Of the three oddball tonics, this combination is probably the best. Nice if you want a real pick-and-mix bag: fruity and balanced.
